Bristol Press: Youth from B.E.S.T.-4-Bristol to travel to peer conference

July 23, 2019

“B.E.S.T.-4-Bristol, which stands for Bristol Eliminating Substance Use Together, works to reduce youth substance use in the city. The young adult group has been meeting weekly, working with prevention coordinator Christina Sanchez and outreach support worker Stephen Bynum, from Bristol Youth & Community Services.

Helping young people through positive peer programs supports healthy decision-making. Youth to Youth provides that support and an opportunity for leadership training at the conference. Youth in attendance will be joined by hundreds of their peers from across the nation to have an experience that will last a lifetime.”
