Introducing our new Drug-Free Communities Program Coordinator, Michael C. Tingley, MPH.
Michael has a background in prevention with substance misuse and mental health. He previously worked at Youth and Family Services of Haddam Killingworth as the Prevention Coordinator. Prior to that he was the Prevention Specialist at Wheeler Clinic’s Connecticut Clearinghouse.
Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing communications from Emerson College with a minor in health communications. He later earned his master’s degree in public health from the University of Connecticut.
Michael is a native to Connecticut, having grown up in Enfield. He’s also spent time living in Boston, Los Angeles and Chicago.
Michael is eager to get started with the BEST Coalition. He looks forward to building relationships with the community, implementing prevention measures related to substance misuse and improving the lives of the citizens of Bristol.
